With deep knowledge in ethnography & anthropology, JSWF brings their experience in tribal family counseling, supplemental education, vocational trainings & workshops with the right tools to assist the children, women & the families.

We have the expertise & tools to provide supplemental education & elementary healthcare to the disabled & special needs children of the tribal communities.

Jay Shakuntala Welfare Foundation (JSWF) provides grass root educational services to the rural-tribal communities of India.

They partner with local school districts for rural-tribal development to create basic educational facilities, rehabilitation programs for the handicapped & elementary education for the children & young adults.

Jay Shakuntala Welfare Foundation is a non-profit non-governmental institution dedicated to facilitating education & learning within the ethnic communities & tribal people of Eastern India.

Working one child, one mother at a time building trust & confidence with our communities to pave the way for better character-building education and livelihood.

Our community library programs brings books & educational materials to tribal & ethnic families & children in remote areas who do not have the facilities to attend regular schools. We also serve severely disadvantaged families & their children with financial assistance to further their education.

In addition, Jay Shakuntala Welfare Foundation also conducts numerous vocational trainings for the youth and adults of the tribal communities to train & prepare them for mainstream jobs in manufacturing, agriculture, handicrafts & other small industries.

Education Scholarships


Scholarships for the education young adults: building a strong educational foundation in the youth & children is the best way to create strong, ethical & moral humans in the society. This scholarship program provides a monetary assistance to the talented youth of the tribal communities who are unable to pursue their education due to financial constraints.
